Spider Cut Pile Scissor Change

Watch this video to learn how to change your scissors on your Spider Cut Pile Tufting Machine. Always unplug your machine for safety and lay it on a gentle surface to protect the on/off switch! You will need a number 8 wrench/adjustable wrench, the alan key that came with the machine, and a flathead screwdriver. First undo the 4 screws on the front of the machine and it will slide off. Next, unscrew the bolt on the bottom and slide off the washers. With the screwdriver, loosen the screw on the scissor assembly. Replace the scissors and rescrew the scissor assembly. Put the scissors back on. Place the washers and bolt of the bottom assembly back on. Line up the 4 screws on the front. Congrats on your new scissors!
